Muziq Quilt is a blog that represents the heart of it's creator, LaPrecious Marcus. I am a wife of 17 years to my best friend, entrepreneur, introvert (INFP) to be exact, and Aquarius mom of 6 (one son in heaven) 5 boys, 1 girl.   Music has always been my love language. I literally hear music everywhere.  I'm the person that actually listens to the music in grocery stores, elevators, commercials, movies, T.V. sitcoms, and nature. I hear music when there's no actual music being played.  Hint, Hint.. I wanted to be a composer.    So, I have used every tool that God has given me to be as close as I can get to be with music.  SO, to say that I have an appreciation of the art is an understatement.   When I listen to music,I always break down the arrangement, first.  I hear every single note, nuance, and beat that the average listener doesn't hear.  Music is like a quilt because it's eclectic; representing different people, stories, perspectives, history, individuality, color, and textures.  Yet, universal and comforting in your best and worst days.  Quilts and Music also mirror the heart of the person that created it as well as the heart of the person to which it is intended.  This blog will expose my love and appreciation for the music and artists that have touched my heart throughout my life. This blog will share those heartfelt experiences.  However, I am not a critiquing the artists or their music, so there will be no music/artist bashing here. This is a blog of my music love story. so grab your tea, quilt, cd's, eight tracks, record players and cassette tapes and take this musical journey with me.
